Our mission

We are virtual airline that simulates the real-life flight operations of Brussels Airlines, the flag carrier of Belgium.

Founded in January 2015 by Joeri Luckermans.
A virtual airline that was based on the foundations of SN Virtual Airlines Group.
The SN Virtual Airlines Group (SVAGroup) was founded on July 1st, 2001, shortly after Sabena went bankrupt and the original Sabena VA needed to transition to the newly formed national airline "SN Brussels Airlines".
The concept was simple: recreate flights of Sabena and SN Brussels Airlines in the virtual world.
After 13 years, it was time for a change !
The original staff had left to pursue other challenges and Joeri created in 2015 what is now Brussels Airlines VA.
Five years after Joeri Luckermans created Brussels Airlines VA, Tim Verbesselt, one of the original founders of Sabena VA and the SN Virtual Airlines Group (SVAGroup), returned to help out again.

Sabena VA 1997-2001
Sabena Virtual Airlines, honoring Belgium's iconic Sabena Airlines, operated until 2001 when the real Sabena went bankrupt.
SN Virtual Airlines Group 2001-2015
The original team pursued other challenges and Joeri created in 2015 what is now Brussels Airlines VA.
Brussels Airlines VA 2015-Current
In 2015, Brussels Airlines VA separated from the SN Airlines Group. This move allowed Brussels Airlines VA to continue its operations independently, focusing on delivering exceptional virtual aviation experiences.
